Lecognizer V1.0 enters public procurement with a Digital Service Mall listing

EdTech company Wicked Storm (CEO Jeongjun Lee) announced on July 22 that it listed Lecognizer V1.0, its learning data collection and storage solution, as commercial software on the Public Procurement Service’s Digital Service Mall last month, entering the public procurement market. With this listing, public and educational institutions can adopt a learning data repository built on the global xAPI standard through a simpler process.

Lecognizer is a solution that collects and stores learning activities from all teaching, learning, and operational activities using the global xAPI standard. Because it stores data from different learning systems to the same standard, learning data carries over when systems change. It offers a visualization dashboard, learning- and competency-based diagnostic analysis, high-volume API message processing, and a high-availability data store, and it integrates flexibly with a wide range of systems.

In April this year, Lecognizer V1.0 earned GS Grade 1 Certification (KTL-GS-24-0035) from the Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL). The certified product is “xAPI-based software for storing and visualizing learning experience data.” Earlier, in August 2023, Lecognizer LRS 1.0.0 received xAPI 1.0.3 LRS certification from ADL (U.S.).

Wicked Storm has built learning data collection and storage systems for projects including the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Seoul Education Platform, the Ministry of Personnel Management’s National HRD Intelligent Open Platform, and Dong-A Publishing’s AI Digital Textbook platform. In April this year, it took on a project to build a learning data utilization system linked to the introduction of AI Digital Textbooks and began building the learning data hub.

With the Digital Service Mall listing, Wicked Storm plans to expand the use of Lecognizer in the public sector. It also offers consultations on adoption scope, integration with existing systems, and purchasing procedures.
